Dead Prez, a duo comprised of Stic.Man and M-1, would now continue the legacy of socially-conscious, political and Afrocentric hip-hop started by their predecessors like Public Enemy, Boogie Down Productions, X-Clan and Poor Righteous Teachers. Producers on “Let’s Get Free” included Hedrush, Kanye West, Lord Jamar of Brand Nubian as well as Dead Prez.
