In case ya missed Part V, here it is; http://www.black2afrika.blogspot.com/2015/07/my-adventures-with-tupacbrainchild-gone_13.html ........................................nment. THE GOD COMPLEX New money, new rules, new responsibilities, new haters, new problems or so it seems when you are on top of your game. Doctors often refer to this as a God complex which is an unshakable belief characterized by consistently inflated feelings of personal ability, privilege or infallibility. A person with a god complex may refuse to admit the possibility of their error or failure, even in the face of complex or intractable problems of difficult or impossible tasks or may regard their personal opinions as unquestionably correct. The individual may disregard the rules of society and require special consideration or privileges. The Black Man is God belief may not be shared by all of Americas’ Most Wanted! Pac was a young man dealing with life’s wicked contrast. With great power come...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRWUs0KtB-I  (Brenda's got a Baby by Tupac) and choices that were made. Originally, the song was a diss song against his mom; Pac was very angry about her throwing him out at seventeen. I was also estranged from my mom and we had not spoken for a few years. I reminded him, had she not put him out, he wouldn't have linked up with Digital Underground, got to be on tour & on an adventure of a lifetime. We exchanged childhood stories of growing up in NYC & Tupac was very determined to make this a diss record. I put my foot down & reminded him, "he's a grown ass man & don't need a mother anymore!" I went on to remind him, "a woman's responsibility was over when he reached a certain age, which was the day you decided to no longer listen to her rules & take control over your own life." I wasn't agreeing to a diss song about moms & so I told him about my very horrid childhood (mental, phy...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqJAnQTwmJs this series is continued from Part III. Had to take a break from it bcuz of so much happening in the world. For Part's I - III, go here I http://black2afrika.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-adventures-with-tupacbrainchild-gone_19.html II http://black2afrika.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-adventures-with-tupacbrainchild-gone_23.html III http://black2afrika.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-adventures-with-tupacbrainchild-gone_26.html Rule number 1  Never lie! A man only has 2 things in this world & that's his word  and his balls. Never shall the two part was my motto. I despise anyone who lies. Never trust them or anybody you can't throw 20 feet. Plus if you tell them the truth they can’t use it against you. Rule number 2   Never use the word like when rapping  because there is no greater thing than self & so why compare? It only makes you look less than what you are referring to. I believe to use simile...

For Part II, go here; http://black2afrika.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-adventures-with-tupacbrainchild-gone_23.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngbf30vASss (Smile) Pac always aspired to do great work, ya know, to live up to a title he had yet to claim. We would build on album concepts and songs to fit him for each album. Voices contained personas from the hood, characters we met on the road or from our past etc etc. We decided the market we were going for was everywhere West of NJ. I pointed out to Pac that most of the country was 'Country', at least to us New Yorkers so logically, I wanted to make music for the bigger audience. Everyone west of NJ had a twang to their accents and so I figured to appeal to that with a country down south rap style. NY at the time was running Hip Hop but the shift with NWA opened the game up and I saw a bigger picture. I had lived in Dallas Texas for two years and so I was well versed in the southern lifestyle. Westside originally really m...

These are only short excerpts of accounts of My History with ‘Tupac’. For full disclosure, look forward to a book release. by Donovan Niccolo Henry (the Don!) In 1989 on the Nitro Tour, I Donovan Niccolo Henry was a Dancer/Choreographer for Platinum selling rapper, LL Cool J. Walking with a Panther was the third studio album by him and as it was released in 1989, the album was a commercial success with several charting singles ("Going Back to Cali," "I'm That Type of Guy," "Jingling Baby” "Big Ole Butt," and "One Shot at Love"). The album however was criticized by the hip-hop community as being too commercial and materialistic and for focusing too much on love ballads. LL Cool J was set to headline his first major tour and I was hired as the only male dancer & choreographer for the six girl dancers & LL. The entire Def Jam Tour at that time included Slick Rock, Big Daddy Kane, Del La Soul, EPMD & Public ...
