Now that WE'VE set ya up kinda proper like, let's make a STORY up about a young gal growing up in the hood who dreams of stardom. Let's name her Donna & Donna starts out from a Mom who ran the streets for 3 years & when her Mom found out that she was pregnant, she calmed down & got a lil more serious about life. Donna's Mama sure could sing & during her time in Mama's stomach, would hear the songs that would calm her when she was restless. She came out of the womb & whenever Donna's Mama sang, it proved the only thing that could calm her other than food for her hunger pangs. She would soon emulate Mom.

WE move forward a few years & Donna is now 8 years old. Mom continues to sing around her & being that she has heard PERFECT MELODY from the WOMB, every note she sings is naturally on point & she can do this flawlessly with very lil effort. Think of what Whitney must have sounded like before clive davis DISCOVERED her. Every talent show she enters is purely academic bcuz it's taken for granted that she's gonna win just like the Jackson 5 when they were still in Gary IN & big shout out to my HOMIE Saidi out there........anyhoo, lil Donna is gonna be a star bcuz she practically already is. Moms is gonna make sure that the mistakes that she made will absolutely NOT visit on the daughter! Her dreams will live on vicariously thru Donna by HOOK or CROOK!

WE shoot forward again & like Brandy & Monica, Donna becomes a 1 named singer recognizable by VOICE who can also ACT & even RAP a lil! Donna gets signed by a major DEVIL sorta like tommy motolla or clive davis & is on every radio station, video chanel & morning show getting that maximum exposure. A national tour is arranged with stops in london & paris & picture it............on every other night, 25,000 peepo yelling her name out just reveling in being around this still very young Sista with Mom in the wings crying bcuz her lil gal done made it big. Who would have thunk that lil ole Donna from the projects of South Bronx would make it this far?

The book above told of just some of the stories that I went thru & what I learned in my forays pursuing that record deal that never came & in retrospect, glad that never happened bcuz if it had, where would I be now & what would I be doing? They won't do Me like Dave Chapelle or Katt Williams bcuz I'm not in. They won't do Me like Pac or ODB! They won't do Me like Phyliss Hyman or Mariah Carey!
