Much RESPECT to OUR DUDE, Donald Byrd who was born in Detroit & was pretty much BORN to play the music that he did for US for his 80 years. When I hear DB, I equate the SOUL ESSENCE to another late & GREAT, Donny Hathaway with Byrd's MUSIC & Hathaway's VOICE! I was so hurt when I heard of his passing that for just a minute, I had that type of headache as a result of ONLY LOVIN YA thru ya MUSIC & bein perfeKtly OK with it bcuz thru ya GENIUS, I know that ya LOVED US so MUCH! I don't ever recall DB doin an interview anywhere or ever seein ANY COMPROMISE in his business & quite honestly, I just don't know what his life was like & I wonder what it means to live in a world where ya not at anymore. Yea DB, what made ya special in other ways.......well at least to me, ya MUSIC was just SO GOOD! Ya music had the right VIBRATION! Ya music is the BOMB! So........almost a year since http://black2afrika.blogspot.com/2012/02/we-gotta-talk-about-devil-in-music_15.html & if ya ain't got enough time to read that, it's about the THEORIES surroundin the DEATH of Whitney Houston. To me, the above Mr Byrd deserves as much RESPECT as she bcuz he was doin this before she was born, he was the the MAN & his MUSIC was ALWAYS BLACK! Did ya know that his middle name was Toussaint L'Ouverture, the DUDE who FREED Haiti from the french when napoleon was the man? Bobbi is SUPPOSED to inherit most of the money & is now on her way to what.........? To marry her play cousin who is a POSSIBLE HANDLER? It seems like most have moved on after her death but the anniversarry is gonna bring back a lotta memories so look for those stories on 2/11.

This is Brandy's birthday & also the date of Whitney's demise in that cursed hotel (ya gotta READ the 1st LINK if ya wanna get what I meant) out there in HOLLYWEIRD! WE all remember the note that Whit handed to her on the stage. WE know that Whit was supposedly seein her brother, ray j & was also the 1 Brandy has looked up to since day 1. Why would ya name ya album on the day that YA GREATEST EVER died even if it's ya bornday as well?
